Greetings from the Agribusiness Department. If you are a prospective student exploring this web site to learn about our program, I hope you are finding the information to convince you to apply to study in the largest agribusiness program in the US, which prepares students for exciting and satisfying careers in the dynamic and increasingly global agrifood system. If you are a former student, thank you for helping to make our program what it is: your success in your chosen field and your contributions to society have demonstrated the value of a Cal Poly Agribusiness Degree. Isaac Newton said he could see far because he stood on the shoulders of giants. Every year our incoming students have higher GPAs and test scores, and our students continue to place and win in national competitions. Agribusiness continues to excel in large part because the success of our former students helps us to attract the best and brightest students interested in careers in agriculture. And if you are a current student: stop surfing the Net and go study 25 -35 hours per week.
